Seeking a creative way to instruct?

No matter what curriculum you currently use to teach Minnesota State History, Spotlight on MinnesotaTM is designed to be used as a key component specifically for grades 3-8.  As an educational game, it is fun, yet reinforces the material presented and strengthens the students' abilities to memorize and recall important facts related to Minnesota History.

  • Allow time for discussion between questions

  • Start with the Green Question Cards and simply discuss the facts

  • Incorporate the Question Cards into your lesson plans

  • Combine two games for classes with more than 15 students

  • Break students into groups of 4-6 and play several games at once

  • Host a challenge night: Parents against students

  • Award a certificate or prizes for winners
